The Radiology department is one of the oldest departments in Padhar Hospital, started by Rev. Dr. C.F. Moss in the late 1950s. At its inception, it was armed with an Xray machine... unheard of in rural India... and the only imaging device in a more than 200km radius! Now, the department encompasses various imaging modalities, cognisant of the financial constraints of a mission hospital and its economically challenged clientele.

ALLIED HEALTH COURSES:
The Department of Radiology also plays an active role in the mission of Padhar hospital, “to train and develop local Christian leadership in various medical and paramedical disciplines with the purpose of serving in the mission field.
DIPLOMA IN RADIOGRAPHIC TECHNOLOGY: Started in 1995, this 2-year course, run by the Christian Medical Association of India, has ensured social change and upliftment, providing manpower to various other hospitals.
