-: Biochemistry laboratory :-

Padhar Hospital's laboratory has grown from a one room area to encompassing Clinical Pathology, Biochemistry, Serology, Microbiology, Histopathology and Cytology and the Blood Bank. 

The laboratory reports generated by the various sections are put onto the HIS (hospital informatics system) which is available at the various computers in the OPDs and the Wards. Thus we have an almost paperless system in the laboratory. 

 The Biochemistry section boasts a number of special equipments and facilities including:

• Fully automated biochemistry analyzer for performing liver function tests, kidney function tests,lipid profile, glucose, calcium, phosphorous, glycosylated Hemoglobin etc.

• Electrolyte analyzer for electrolyte levels

• Arterial blood gas analyser which is invaluable for patients in the ICU.  

We participate in the external quality assurance program run by CMC Vellore.
